Demi Lovato Dedicates ‘Warrior’ to Bruce Jenner in Concert After ’20/20′ Interview

Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner came out as transgender during a blockbuster 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday night and received a wave of positive feedback on Twitter from not only his family members, but also Oprah Winfrey, Ariana Grande , Miley Cyrus , and more.
Demi Lovato also supported the 65-year-old decathlete during her Demi World Tour stop in Auckland, New Zealand on Sunday by dedicating her track “Warrior ” to the reality star, who used the interview — watched by 16.9 million viewers — to “change the world” by cutting stigma surrounding the transgender community.
“I just want to dedicate this song and it’s so cheesy that I’m even doing this, but f**k it whatever,” the 22-year-old told the audience. “I want to dedicate it to someone who became an even bigger hero last night — Bruce Jenner!...

By the way, I never thought I’d ever dedicate a song to him. But he was honest and he was open with his story,” Demi continued. “No matter if you agree with it or not, he probably saved so many lives and educated so many people [about] transitioning into being a woman and being transgender and what’s that’s all about. So, yeah, I just want to dedicate it
to Bruce Jenner.”
