Igbinedion Sentenced To 6 Years Imprisonment With An Option Of Fine, While Aide Gets 20 Years With No Option

 

You read it here yesterday that the brother of former Governor of Edo State, Micheal Igbinedion and his accomplice were yesterday found guilty by an Edo court for money laundering. Well Mr Igbinedion has been sentenced to 6 years imprisonment but got an option of fine of N1m for each of the three counts 79, 80 and 81, for which he was convicted, while Patrick Eboigbodin, an aide also to Lucky Igbinedion was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment without an option of fine.
