A man reportedly jumped from 3rd Mainland Bridge into the lagoon this morning

A few people have written to me this morning saying they saw a well dressed man driving a Toyota Sienna who parked on Third Mainland bridge, calmly walked over the rails and jumped into the sea. They said it happened so fast they couldn't believe they had witnessed an apparent suicide. Hopefully, we will get more details when government agencies in charge of such things get involved.

Arrest Tompolo, Asari, others now - Gen T.Y Danjuma says

Former Minister of Defence Gen T.Y Danjuma called on Pres. Jonathan yesterday to order the immediate arrest of Asari Dokubo, Government Tompolo and other Niger Delta ex-militants who declared that they would destabilise the country if the president does not win next month's presidential election.

Danjuma said this in an interview at the North West University, Kano shortly after commissioning the Kwankwasiyya City built by the Kano state government today January 28th. He said the militants must be punished for making such unguarded utterances which could throw the nation into chaos.

"The statements were very reckless coming from irresponsible individuals and they should be condemned, in fact they should be arrested" he said. (Source - Daily Trust)

This topic has been going on for years, many guys don't seem to understand the reasons why ladies refuse to approach them.
Having grown up in an environment filled with ladies I know much about them and I came up with this thread

1). Shyness
This is one of the main reasons why ladies find it hard to approach guys the lack confidence and when they eventually get the boldness to approach they guy of their dreams they get the cold feet.

2). Arrogance
Some ladies are just so arrogant and full of thereselves they can't seem to reckon with the idea of approaching a guy they've instilled the idea that guys alone should approach a lady and not otherwise

Former CBN Governor, Charles Soludo, Releases Article that has really Got Everyone Talking - SEE

Former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Charles Soludo, wrote a very long article yesterday titled 'Buhari vs Jonathan, Beyond the elections', where he x-rayed the chances of the two men winning next month's general elections and the challenges that lie ahead.

In the very incisive piece, Soludo berated the present administration of having poor economic plan which he graded "F". He says President Jonathan's economic team is too weak due to its composition of "self-interested and self-conflicted group of traders and businessmen". 

He said "President Jonathan if you are not re-elected, there is little to remember about your regime after the next few years". 

On Buhari, he said the former military leader and his team must realize that they do not yet have a coherent, credible agenda that is consistent with the fundamentals of the economy currently. The APC manifesto contains some good principles and wish-lists, but as a blue print for Nigeria’s security and prosperity, it is largely hollow, he said.
