Richard Gere and Carey Lowell Split After 11 Years of Marriage

 

Pretty Woman star Richard Gere's 11years old marriage to former Bond girl Carey Lowell has come to an end. According to Hollywood sources,  a friend of the couple confirmed the split though Gere and Lowell plan to do everything possible to keep things amicable, putting  their child together, 13-year-old son Homer Gere, first. Sources say their split was as a result of their lifestyle differences. Gere, a devout Buddhist, was said to enjoy his solitude, while Lowell, a former model and actress, enjoyed being more social.
They wedded in 2002 after dating for about seven years.
This would be Gere's second marriage split and Lowell's third marriage split.
