APC Accepts 7 PDP Governors, To Give Them Party Structures

The All Progressive Congress, APC, has agreed to welcome the seven governors in the breakaway faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, with the offer to give them complete control of the APC structures in their respective states immediately.
Our Sources gathered that President Goodluck Jonathan is working secretly to plead with the governors not to dump the PDP for the APC because it would be difficult for him to win a re-election in 2015 with just about 15 governors when the APC will be having almost 20 governors.
The acting National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has said the party would not be averse to any big fish, including all the seven new PDP governors since they are ready to join the APC.

“It is our party policy that any governor that joins us from the opposition would be given the party structure in his state,” a top APC officials was quoted as telling Governor Murtala Nyako.

By offering the party structure to the governors, the governors will automatically produce executive officials of the party in the states.
Speaking on the option to join the APC, National Publicity Secretary of the nPDP, Chief Chukwuemeka Eze said there is too much impunity in the PDP.

“Let us face the facts. The fact is that it is our desire to take PDP back to the vision of the founding fathers, but what is our situation where we fail? Do we as politicians continue with the impunity that is being perpetuated by a cabal in PDP where two or three persons gather and say sack this person, suspend this person, revoke this land, seal up this secretariat.
"Is that how to practice democracy? So, if we have other options of which APC is one of the options nothing stops us from exploring those opportunities."
