Based on the just concluded governorship election, plateau state, like many other states, have witnessed large turnout of individuals parading themselves on the streets of Plateau, holding flags and brooms which symbolizes the All Progressive Congress APC. State gubernatorial seat as he polled a total of 564, 913 to defeat his
Peoples Democratic Party, PDP counterpart, Sen. Gyang Pwajok who scored
520, 627 votes.
The results which was announced in the early hours of Monday after the
initial delays in turning up of election results from the 17 local
government was received with joy as supporters of the APC trooped out to
celebrate the victory with drums and songs.
Finally, people can learn that "no one" is more than "everyone:. Inclusive growth is all we want on the Plateau, No Tribalism! No Favouratism etc... And these had been the major issues that resulted to the CHANGE in the state.
