Initially we reported that Gov. Jang has won Plateau North Senatorial Seat Click HERE, Now its Official. Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State has been declared the winner of Plateau North Senatorial seat, with former Governor Joshua Dariye winning the Plateau Central, and Retired Lieutenant General Jeremiah Useni, clinching the Plateau South.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) clinched the 3 Senatorial tickets in the state, as well as 6 slots in the House of Representatives out of 8, with the All Progressives Alliance (APA) having two Federal Constituencies.
Announcing the results of the Plateau North Senatorial seat, the returning officer having read out results from the 6 local government areas of the zone, declared the PDP candidate winner.
For the Jos north/Bassa Federal Constituency, Suleiman Kwande retained the seat, to beat the PDP candidate, Chris Hassan, as announced by the returning officer.
